Using the Site
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the webite without notice. We will not be liable if our site is unavailable at any time.

You may download excerpts and print off any pages from our website for your personal use but you must not transmit, distribute, copy, duplicate, amend, republish, exhibit, or post any part of the website without our written permission.

Data Protection and Privacy  

On first contact with you, we conduct a questionnaire to ascertain your level of driving. We process any information that you give us about you in accordance with our privacy policy. By using our site and contacting us, you consent to this processing and you confirm that all data and information provided by you is true and accurate.

Links from the site

Our site contains links to other sites. The links have been provided as they are deemed useful to users of our site and are for information only. We do not own these sites, therefore, we have no control over the contents of them. We accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

Booking Lessons

Lessons are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis.

Cancellations

A minimum of 48 hours is required to cancel a lesson. Any lesson cancelled in less than 48 hours must be paid for in full before any further lessons are taken.

Using the vehicle
In the interest of yours and the public's safety, we reserve the right to withdraw the use of the training car for the driving test, if it is deemed that your driving is potentially or actually dangerous.

Punctuality
After arriving at your nominated pick up point for your lesson but there is no reply at the address given, we will wait approximately 15 minutes. If you turn up within this time frame, then the lesson will be conducted, but will finish at the scheduled time had the lesson started promptly. If after 15 minutes, you have not made contact or we are unable to reach you, the lesson will be abandoned and you will be required to pay for the lesson in question as per the cancellation clause above.

Block Bookings

Lessons can be booked in a ‘Block’ where lessons are discounted and work out cheaper than booking either single or double hours. Block bookings are non-transferable and therefore hours outstanding cannot be transferred to another student.

Payments

All payments should be made PRIOR to the start of each lesson. In the case of block booking payments, the full payment should be paid either at the end of the last paid lesson or prior to the first lesson of the new block. Payments can be made by:

Cash
Bank Transfer
Major debit & Credit Card – Visa Debit, Visa Credit, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro etc

Unfortunately, we no longer accept payment by cheque.

Refunds on Block Bookings

If no lessons have been taken, then a full refund will be given, minus a £26 admin charge.

For part refunds, any lessons previously taken will be charged in multiples of 2 hour lessons with any single hours charged at the single hour rate. A £26 admin charge will be levied. Example:

If a 10 hour block booking (£330) was paid for and 7 hours were used, deductions of the following amounts would be made:-

£204 (3 two hour lessons @£68 each)

£ 35 (1 one hour lesson @£35)

£ 26 (Admin Charge)

£ 265 (Total deduction)

A refund of £65 would be due to you.

Block bookings are NON-TRANSFERRABLE, therefore hours outstanding cannot be transferred to another student.

Special Offers

From time to time we promote Moving Off by offering discounts, free lessons and free gifts. Discounts and free lessons are NON-TRANSFERRABLE in any circumstances. These offers are at our discretion and can be withdrawn at any time. Free lessons should be taken within 3 months of eligibility. Free gifts are usually offered based on block bookings. The free gift will only be issued upon full and cleared payment of block booking. If the lessons in the qualifying block are cancelled, then the full retail price of the free gift will be deducted prior to any refund due.
